Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

These Terms govern access to JobScraper, a job search automation service operated by jobscraper. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must have legal capacity to enter a contract and must provide accurate account information. If you use JobScraper for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.

You are responsible for protecting your credentials, account activity, and authorized users. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. The Service

JobScraper provides public-source job discovery, aggregation, CV analysis, opportunity ranking, application assistance, and application tracking.

Features, source availability, limits, and integrations may change as employers, ATS providers, laws, and third-party services evolve.

We may suspend a feature or source when continued operation creates a security, legal, technical, or third-party compliance risk.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use JobScraper unlawfully; bypass authentication, captchas, paywalls, robots controls, or technical restrictions; interfere with external services; distribute malware; probe security; scrape personal profiles; or infringe privacy, database, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.

You may not resell, reverse engineer, copy, or provide unauthorized access to the service, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

You are responsible for confirming that your use of a source, exported data, generated message, or application complies with applicable law and the source's terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of CVs, profile content, notes, and other material you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transform, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and that it does not unlawfully contain another person's confidential or personal information.

5. Job Listings and Third-Party Services

Job listings, employer pages, ATS feeds, and application sites are controlled by third parties. A listing may change, expire, contain inaccuracies, or become unavailable without notice.

JobScraper does not endorse employers, verify every listing, submit applications unless a feature clearly says so, or guarantee interviews, offers, responses, or employment.

Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of them is between you and the relevant provider.

6. Intelligent Assistance

Compatibility scores, CV critiques, summaries, recommendations, cover letters, and messages are generated assistance and may be incomplete or incorrect.

You must review outputs before using them. Do not submit false qualifications, misleading claims, or confidential employer information through the service.

7. Plans, Billing, and Taxes

Paid plans, billing intervals, usage limits, and prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled unless checkout states otherwise.

Free-plan manual scraping may require a voluntary rewarded advertisement. Automatic monitoring cadence, market coverage, advertising requirements, and fair-use limits may differ by plan and are shown in the product or pricing page.

You authorize our payment provider to charge applicable fees and taxes. Failed payment may result in restricted or suspended access.

Cancellation and refund rules are described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

8. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service and may delete your account through available settings.

We may restrict or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, security threats, legal requirements, material breach, or conduct that risks harm to users, JobScraper, or third parties.

Provisions concerning ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination where their nature requires.

9. Intellectual Property

The service, software, branding, documentation, and non-user content are owned by or licensed to JobScraper and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Feedback may be used to improve the service without obligation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, permanent source availability, error-free outputs, or particular employment results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobScraper is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, lost profits, or loss caused by third-party listings or services.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid JobScraper during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot be excluded under consumer law.

12. Electronic Acceptance and Changes

Selecting the acceptance checkbox and continuing creates an electronic record that you accepted the displayed versions of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

If we make a material change, we may require you to review and accept a new version before continuing to use the account.

Translations may be provided for convenience. Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, the English version controls if translated wording conflicts.

13. Governing Terms and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of french, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country.

Before starting formal proceedings, both parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue through support.
